School Supply Community Service Project:
ulius Cohen (son of Katie and Hal; brother of Asher) is collecting school supplied for low-income DC schools for his eighth-grade community service project.  Please drop off new supplies like kid scissors, notebook paper, crayons, construction paper, pencils, markers, and glue in the box he has provided in the hallway by the elevator. Collections will be made until Monday, May 13. If you prefer to order online, a list can be found here

Wednesday Night Minyan:
Please join us every Wednesday when Himmelfarb is in session. The brief service begins promptly at 6:10 and wraps up at 6:30, in time for Hebrew School pick-up. We alternate between mincha and maariv, dependent upon the sunset. The weekday minyan is a great way to meet other congregants, learn the evening service, and help those in our community who are saying kaddish. Unfortunately, we often  struggle to make a minyan - so your participation is incredibly helpful. Please take a moment to indicate whether you will be able to join us this week. The sign-up sheet is available
online here

** A note from Jennifer Kefer - 'Our boys will no longer be in Wednesday evening Hebrew School next fall; please let me know if you'd be interested in taking over the coordination of our weekday minyan. It's a very light lift - and offers a wonderful service (pun intended...) for our community!'

Questions of the Week:
What are the colors of the Israeli flag?
What are the names of the some important cities in Israel?
How does the symbol of Israel look like? What does it have in it?
