Tifereth IsraeI will be holding a monthly Learners Minyan which will focus on helping participants become more comfortable participating in TI Shabbat services, understanding the structure, themes, and meanings of the prayers.
The minyan, led by TI-member Rabbi Jason Kimelman-Block, will meet on the first Shabbat of each month from 10-11:30am and include an easy-to-follow basic morning service, plus time for in-depth study of a specific prayer each week. We will end roughly in time to join the main sanctuary for Musaf.
It is aimed for any adult who wants to get to know the service better. We will use Sim Shalom plus a transliteration, so Hebrew knowledge is a plus, but not required.
