Remembrances

MEMORIAL PLAQUES

There are special Jewish traditions on the anniversary of a           death, or yahrzeit.  Loved ones light a 24-hour candle, make charitable contributions and recite the Mourner’s Kaddish

At TI, we read names of the deceased on Friday evening and
Shabbat morning.  We also light memorial plaques in the
Sanctuary before sundown on the Shabbat preceding
yahrzeit and  before Yizkor (memorial) services.

EMPTY YOUR POCKETS
Friday, October 11 at 5:45 pm

Each year, the Social Action Committee selects an organization to support and encourages TI members to "empty their pockets" on their way to Kol Nidre services. This year's recipient is Shepherd's Table, which provides hot and nutritious meals daily to people in need.
Donate to Shepherd's Table here.
