Soferet Alexandra Casser specializes in restoration of Torah scrolls and teffilin. She
attended Yeshivat Hadar in NYC and has provided scribal services to communities around the country.  She organizes the Women’s Tefillin Gemach, which provides low-cost tefillin to underserved members of the Jewish community, and the Stam Scribes collective of progressive Jewish scribes.

On the 28th, Alex will give an interactive teaching on the scribal arts and care for Torah scrolls. She will also help us sew the parchment of a broken TI Torah onto its Eytz Hayyim roller. Please register below if you plan to attend.
